From some of my interests, people might think I'm a feminist, a vegetarian, or some form of "radical." For one thing, I don't consider anybody sticking their convictions to be a radical unless they are being an extremist. :p
I do not consider myself a feminist, I am definitely not a vegetarian. I do believe in getting over stupidity, however. And if I think something is ridiculous or just simply unimportant (especially in the big picture) I will say so.
I don't consider myself to believe in any one religion, however I do have my own beliefs. No, I am not Wiccan. I am not an atheist. I am sort of an agnostic, although not in the traditional sense. I don't know if I believe in the same God that Christians do, but I do believe that something is there and that it cannot be explained or proven.
I do consider myself a realist, though. :p So take that as you wish.
I am very opinionated, and unless I am proven WRONG in my opinion, I don't ever apologize for those opinions. In fact, even then I don't apologize FOR the opinion itself, though I do concede that I was wrong. If my opinions are offensive to some people, I will apologize that they were offended, but I will not apologize for the opinion itself. Why? Not to be rude, I assure you. But, because I don't believe anybody should have to apologize for what they believe if that is truly what they believe. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion! :p
This journal is for rants. I was going to keep it friend locked, but I have changed my mind. If someone spams my journal, I can just ban them, and if they for some reason find a way around it and LJ can't deal with it, then I guess I'll have to wait until they get bored or maybe I'll have to break down and friend lock it, then. But, really, if someone is that upset over me expressing my opinion on things, then I feel sorry for them. :p They're just opinions. Everybody's got an opinion. :p
The rants in this journal may or may not directly effect me. They could range from thoughts on a book I've read, a character I like, or even to things such as capital punishment or current events in the news and media that I've noticed.
